Our Story
Our Meet Cute
After chatting eachother up on Hinge, we met at MOTW coffee for our
first date. Instantly, I (Jared) was floored at how gorgeous Caeli
was. Her winged eyeliner was so cute and she was even more beautiful
in person.
I figured I didn't have a real shot with her, but that
I would make the most of it. I offered to buy her coffee and asked if
she wanted a pastry too. Little did I know, adding that little snack
into the mix bought me enough points to land a second date.
Moving In Together
By September the next year, we had a lot of good memmories under our
belts. We experience Brat Summer, saw the Barbie movie, went on our
first roadtrip, and even said "I love you". It was time to up the
ante. I (Jared again) asked (begged) Caeli to move in. After all,
our girls (dogs) had already become BFF's.
She agreed ❤️

2024 brought us many more happy moments and a very exciting achievement from Caeli: Defending and earning her PhD!!! At this point in our relationship, we had gone on our second road trip to New Buffalo, MI, climbed tons of fake rocks together at North Mass, and watched countless hours of Love is Blind together. However, Caeli's massive accomplishment also meant that soon, she'd have to complete a post-doc and the love birds would soon have to adjust to a Long Distance relationship.

Fast forward to May of 2025 and BOOM. I (still Jared) made the
fateful decision that ultimately lead to you reading this sentence.
I asked Caeli to marry me! The day we got engaged was so magical. I
transformed Caeli's apartment while she was out by hanging up tons
of photos of us, placed some balloons, and flowers, and streamers,
and she said "yes"!!!
Later that day, we went to Bainbridge island and just floated around
on our little love cloud.
