We recommend wearing flats or wedges as the ceremony will be held outside on uneven ground.
Please aim to be here by 4:40 so you have time to get settled before the ceremony.
Pretty small! We wanted to throw an intimate gathering for our closest loved ones. Our wedding could be considered a “micro wedding” or an elopement with extra steps.
During the ceremony, we kindly ask that you refrain from taking any pictures as we will have our photographer present to capture the moment. During the reception, feel free to take the occasional photo, but please be mindful to not obstruct our photographer. After our photographer leaves (around 8 pm), you are welcome to take as many pictures as you’d like. And yes, sharing on social media is totally fine!
Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids is the closest major airport (~50 miles away).
Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport is located approximately 57 miles away.

See the Saugutuck / Douglas website for an official guide on what to do in the area, but here is a sampling:
If we don't see you at the wedding, we'll assume you didn't make it out.
Butler Street in Sagatuck is a scenic street lined with plenty of cute botiques.
Your presence on our day is the greatest gift we could receive.
